Missed Appointment Policy

The team at Madison Street Animal Hospital is dedicated to Putting Pets First and creating an environment of being Good Neighbors. An increased level of missed appointments and last - minute appointment reschedule requests (less than 24 hours' notice for appointments and surgical procedures) is creating a scenario where we may not be able to see real time patients in need or urgent or timely care.As of January 1st, 2023, we will be implementing a scheduling deposit program for new clients and surgical procedures.

  • We will be requiring a deposit to establish care for first-time clients at Madison Street Animal Hospital. This deposit will be the cost of the appointment that is being scheduled (Establish Care Wellness $88, Establish Care Clinical $98). We still offer $30 off for one pet on pet parents’ first visit to our hospital, and the established deposit will be applied to the current appointment invoice(s).
  • We ask for scheduling purposes that pet parent(s) give us 24 hours’ notice from the time of their appointment to reschedule or cancel said appointment.
  • We will be requiring a $250 deposit for surgical procedures and will need 72 hours’ notice in order to reschedule/cancel said procedure.
  • If a pet parent(s) accumulates more than three missed appointments, or combination of missed appointments and last minute reschedules, we then will require a deposit for all future services. The deposit will be the cost of the appointment, which will be applied to the current appointment invoice(s).
  • We understand that emergencies happen, and we recognize that we are all Authentically Human and real-life situations happen that are out of our control. We will do our very best to accommodate those emergencies.
  • We truly stand behind our pillar of “Putting Pets First” and work diligently to ensure all pets in our community can be treated in a timely fashion and have their health needs met daily. We appreciate all current and future clients of Madison Street Animal Hospital, and want to help as many pets as we can.
